Folks who know us well eventually come to understand that I get all my best lines from Sarah. She’s had a number of dramatic dreams lately which all involved the question of resources. I hope she publishes lengthy accounts of all of them and so much more, but, for now, she whittled it down to a lovely op-ed which brings Hannah Arendt into conversation with Nashville and its relationship with its children. Please read, share, and apply it to your own context(s). Preview: “It is good to settle for nothing less than the best for your child, it is even better to actively pursue nothing less than the best for all children in our city. A city that does right by its children will have a future that does right by its people.”

I would love to follow Sarah's blogs or anything she has had published. I haven't figured out how to find her yet. She was in my literature class in college. I was always very impressed by her.
