I was just imagining waking-up this morning and discovering that my bed was not a bed. I was laying in two enormous hands, with huge fingers, almost the way one might hold a kitty or a puppy or a baby, while smiling at the baby and making cooing sounds. Was I dreaming? Or, perhaps, could it be that not being held and whispered to like that is the real dream?
I wanted to enunciate the joy which your son's sartorial selections in his new music video sparked for me...as I recall, your niece inscribed the lovely artwork thereupon! Such consilience with the spirit exemplified on the stage in Encinitas a couple weeks ago, when your brother brought your niece alongside him to sing in front of 5,000 people: The desire to champion others at every opportunity. I'm taking notes!
(Fun Fact: My friends and I bought the new Switchfoot record on the beach, and after the concert, proceeded to embark upon a late-night retail quest to obtain a CD player. Rental cars and AirBNBs no longer accord such luxuries!)
