Empire is doomed.

Empire is militant denial. It is also a form of faith. The bad faith of an abusive husband can be addressed in court. The bad faith of a trillionaire who denies the incoming data of his own lifestyle choices is less easy to manage, but it can be meaningfully addressed by people who insistently tell the truth and invite that trillionaire to step outside of his robots, touch grass, and behave like a human being among human beings. That trillionaire can be publicly called upon, many times a day, to disarm and consider the data of his doings among his fellow mortals. When he declines, our case isn’t closed. We are, rather, granted more data on what we're contending with when it comes to him and his enablers in and out of public office. They are outnumbered. Empire is doomed.
