I am, in large part, the sum of my relationships. There are myriad people older than me and younger than me and about my age and no longer among us who’ve done me the great kindness of believing well of me and asking me questions and listening and even heartily vouching for me when needed.
Into this mix comes Meg Settle doing her righteous work while also granting me the profound kindness of making me her first guest in the premiere episode of State of Conflict. It’s rich. It’s short. And it’s probably the best introduction to whatever it is I can be said to be doing with my life.
Also, don’t miss the fact that Abby Clark, Meg’s sister, is part of the operation.
Also, subscribing to State of Conflict means you won’t miss the next episode which will include my mentors, Rahim Buford and Dr. Richard Goode.
Also, talk it up. As Anton Ego reminds us THE NEW NEEDS FRIENDS. Feats of attentiveness based in Tennessee and about Tennessee and put together by people within the beautiful state of Tennessee need all the support they can get. *slams fist on table* Amplify thoughtfulness everywhere.
Also…here’s a screenshot of an early page of We Become What We Normalize. Copies are still available and it has yet to be banned. If you want a signed copy, reach out.
Great podcast! I’m excited to hear future episodes, we definitely need more voices like you two in Tennessee!
