"There are these two young fish swimming along and they happen to meet an older fish swimming the other way, who nods at them and says "Morning, boys. How's the water?" And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and goes 'What the hell is water?’"
People are simply terrified of annilation. They think they are their ego, the self, the I, an individual, but they don’t know they are an individual permanently, forever joined to our Father. The Son and the Father are an eternal union and take can never change. Surely a wave rolling up upon the beach is a wave, but it is forever a part of the ocean. When it recedes into the ocean, it does not become annihilated…..it remains within the ocean and can be a wave again. THIS is why we fear death. We think we are bodies and when we die we might be annihilated. TIME we learned we are eternal spirits, yes, in a body, but it is like a cloak we will hang-up some day and 100% of who we are will leave and go on to our next great adventure, but still forever living inside of Father. Where else is there to be? Out side of everywhere? Enjoy the ride!
Mmmm... Tasting notes of caramel, black liquorice, and The Great Divorce here.
Auden always sounds like he’s writing right now, never in “the past.”

Wisdom from another “David”.
Peace to you, David. From an even older “fish”.
