I will try to report the facts and only the facts.
The hand in the image above belongs to my eye-rubbingly awesome son, Peter. The shirtless individual looking—I think—at Peter is James Eichman who is also eye-rubbingly awesome. They have been at it together being awesome, spurring one another along, since they were in junior high. They are both artists every which way within more than one effort within a large but distinct scenius in Nashville. One of those efforts is superhero.
The self-titled debut is in the state of dropped here and here and elsewhere. It is also available on cassette.
I will now refrain from voicing comparison to other efforts. The album contains fifteen songs. Drums, guitar, vocal. They are a righteous witness among us.
Have any of you ever been to The Great Escape? I am one among many with a long history with The Great Escape.
To specify, it’s The Great Escape on Charlotte Avenue. It’s free.
I am truly madly deeply determined to refrain from commenting on the album at this time, but I’d welcome discussion of particular songs and lyrics in the comments section below.
It is written: You can’t step in the same rock and roll twice.
Used to go to the original Great Escape back in the day
Great column
Enjoying the record over my dinner here in Milan. Superhero can now claim to have an international fan base. 🤘
