Some say that the “thumbs-up” gesture is an allusion to an erect penis. Two thumbs-up would be alluding to two erect penises. Men do have two minds, but we are not supposed to allow our animal mind take control over our High Mind, the one Abraham Lincoln called “our better angels.” We all know at least a few men who are lead by their thumbs. These men seen to have little joy, scarce creativity, and are not known for kindness, happiness, and humor. Some men are real “gentlemen,” but some know very little of gentleness, wisdom, and love. They might be consigned to almost endless re-incarnations. If becoming kind, loving, and tender-hearted, and wise is the goal of life, some of us are headed in the wrong direction. It is never too late to turn your kayak around and go with the flow of the Universe. Paddling against the tide is hell. The tide of the river of life is toward love, gentleness, kindness, and understanding. NO MORE ME WITHOUT YOU, yes, but why come so late to the love feast?
